WE ARE COMING TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY FOR SHO MURASE
Recently our dearest friend and creative maven, Sho Murase, has fallen on some of the harshest times one can imagine because of a rare kidney disease that brought on sudden kidney failure. Her health has deteriorated to the point where she can no longer work as an artist and only with the help of her extended family of friends and loved ones has she managed to make it through it all.   

Only through her courage and will to battle on has she endured until now. Sho has literally been fighting for her life. And while we all know her as an incredible artist, personally she is also a resilient, courageous and private woman who would never ask anyone for anything if she could avoid it. Unfortunately her battle is not over and this is why we have come together to raise money for Sho. 

Born in Japan and raised in Spain, her unique cultural richness and sensibilities are reflected in her visual style. She has worked in the fine art and entertainment industries in a variety of formats including animation, graphic novels, comics, and gallery exhibitions.

Award winning comic artist Jerome Opena will have an original piece for bid. This is your chance to get a one of a kind creation from one of the comic industries top talents.  Jerome is known for his work on Marvel Avengers, X- force, and his latest book Seven to Eternity.  

Orignal Art from Artist Jon Wayshak

An Illustrator and comic artist Jon Wayshak is one of the most original and unique illustrators working today.   Wayshak works with a variety of materials; brush ink, gouache, acrylic, pencil, watercolors, pens, on whatever else is handy – paper scraps and leftover cut down illustration boards or watercolor paper. He pulls his inspiration from rock music, films and of course, comic books which he says always get him pumped for the day.

Online Painting Workshop from Artist Dice Tsutsumi

Daisuke “Dice” Tsutsumi, originally from Japan, is a filmmaker, painter and philanthropist. A graduate from The School of Visual Arts in New York, Dice has worked as a visual development/color key artist at Blue Sky Studios on Ice Age, Robots and Horton Hears a Who! His credits at Pixar Animation include Lighting Art Director for Toy Story 3 and Monsters University. Tickets for this online painting workshop go on sale during our auction event. 

Online Animation Workshop from Artist Carlos Baena

Animation Mentor founder Carlos Baena will offer an online animation workshop. Tickets go on sale during our auction event. Register now to secure your spot to this master class in animation techniques. Carlos is currently working as a director for an upcoming animated film for Paramount studios. 

Online Visual Storytelling Workshop from Pixar Artists Ted Mathot and Derek Thompson

Online Wool Felting Workshop from Wool Buddy Artist Jackie Huang

Wool Buddy Founder Jackie Huang, a former Lucasfilm 3D story artist and art teacher, mastered the skill of needle felting years ago, he began needle felting woolen toys for his daughter. Jackie had managed to create a truly special line of handmade toys.  Jackie will offer an online wool felting workshop. Tickets go on sale during our auction event.
